South Side High School & Elementary Student Registration
In order to facilitate a quicker beginning of the school year, the district has changed the procedures for student registration. All students in grades 1-12 are encouraged to attend on the registration dates listed below in order to complete necessary paperwork. High school students will need to register in the high school office and elementary students in grades 1-6 will register in the lower elementary office. In addition, high school students will be assigned a Chromebook after paperwork has been completed.
August 1st from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm – grades 1-12
August 2nd from 12 pm – 7:00 pm – grades 1-12
August 3rd from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm – new student registration only
August 4th from 12 pm – 7:00 pm – grades 1-12
August 9th from 12 pm – 7:00 pm – grades 1-12; in conjunction with Open House
No appointments are necessary during these times.
Elementary class lists can only be viewed during student registration; class lists will not be posted online.
7th grade students will need to bring their current shot record when they register.
All new students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring the following: birth certificate, social security card, current shot record, academic records, address of previous school, current mailing address, proof of residence, and phone number. Registration forms can be downloaded from the school’s website under the Community tab. Registration packets will not be mailed for the 22-23 school year. Please bring completed paperwork with you or be prepared to complete paperwork at the time of registration.
Students will purchase parking permits at this time; parking permits are $5.00. All students who drive to school must register their vehicle with the office. To register your vehicle you must bring the following: auto registration, proof of insurance, and driver’s license. Lockers will also be assigned at this time.
